January 6, 1923 ~ May 2, 2005


Funeral service for Earl Emory Brooks, Sr., 82, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2005 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Earl Emory Brooks, Sr. was born January 6, 1923 in Verden, Oklahoma the son of Thomas Emory Brooks, Sr. and Florence [Beauchamp] Brooks and died May 2, 2005 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He grew up in the Chickasha area. He moved to Oklahoma City where he had lived for over 50 years. Mr. Brooks retired from M-C-M Machine Works in 1986. He served in the U.S. Army 45th Infantry during World War II. Mr. Brooks was a member of the American Legion, VFW Post 1857 and was a 32rd Degree Mason. He was a member of the Capital Hill United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City.

He and Martha Faye Clark were married September 1, 1961.

Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice Brooks in 1960.

Survivors include: wife, Martha Faye Brooks of the home, one daughter and her husband Barbara Anne and Timothy Nall of San Springs, Oklahoma; one son, Earl Emory Brooks, Jr. of Bellevue, Nebraska; two grandsons, Dylan Trey Nall and Ethan Bane Nall; one sister: Etta Doxie Nice; two brothers: Leon Brooks; Thomas Emory Brooks, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
