Loyd A. Anderson
September 13, 1915 ~ December 27, 2006


Funeral service for Loyd A. Anderson, 91, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2006 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Loyd A. Anderson was born September 13, 1915 in Kiefer, Oklahoma the son of Silas H. and Bertie [Bray] Anderson and died December 27, 2006 in Chickasha.

Loyd lived in Chickasha for over 60 years. He worked for Chickasha Public Schools as a custodian.

He and Ruth Grissom Anderson were married October 11, 1946 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, She preceded him in death.

Loyd served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Conflict.

He was also preceded in death by: parents; one brother.

Survivors include: one sister: Marie Sehested of Duncan, Oklahoma; one nephew and his wife: Stanley D. and Joan Sehested of The Woodlands, Texas.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
