Kayla Blake Thornburg
November 17, 1990 ~ May 18, 2018

Kayla Blake Thornburg went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2018.

Kayla was born November 17, 1990 in Chickasha, OK to Roy and Rhonda Thornburg. She grew up in Bradley, Oklahoma. She attended grade school at Alex Public Schools until 8th grade when she transferred to Lindsay Public Schools. She was known for her athletic nature in basketball, track, and cheer.

In 2008, Kayla was blessed with her first set of twins Hallee and Holden Thornburg. She said, "Words could never describe how much I love them."

In 2011, Kayla was blessed with her second set of twins Rowan and Rayv Thornburg. She said, "Her babies they will always be."

The five of them lived, laughed, and loved each other unconditionally. Kayla’s children were her world. She coached the girls cheerleading squads and attended every baseball, football, and sporting event. Her goal in life was to be the best mother to her children.

Kayla was preceded in death by her grandparents: Sharron Thornburg and Junior Roberson.

She is survived by her grandparents: Jean Farmer and Richard Thornburg of Marlow, Oklahoma and Troy and Clarissa Garmon of Paris, Texas, parents: Roy and Rhonda Thornburg of Lindsay, Oklahoma, her siblings: Britanee Thornburg of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Devin and Jessica Thornburg of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Dawson Thornburg of Lindsay, Oklahoma. Most importantly her four beautiful children Hallee, Holden, Rowan, and Rayv Thornburg of Lindsay, Oklahoma, also a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Kayla will be missed dearly because she was loved by all and was known as the person that could light up the room when she walked into it.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Alex Southern Baptist Church of Alex, Oklahoma. Kayla will be interred in Bradley, Oklahoma.
