Funeral services for Edna Jo Bowen, 75, of Alex, Okla., will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Edna Jo Bowen was born May 10, 1928, and died on Wednesday, October 29, 2003.

Burial will be in Bradley Cemetery, Bradley, Okla., under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Edna Jo Bowen, 75, of Alex, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Edna Jo Bowen was born May 10, 1928, in Butler, Oklahoma, the daughter of Samuel Robert and Ruby Pickett [Woffard] Birdwell, and died October 29, 2003, in Lindsay, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Bowen moved to Grady County and worked at downtown McClellan's, T.G. & Y., Dunn's Grocery and retired from Walmart.

She and Jimmy Bowen were married January 25, 1967, in Chickasha.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. She loved to watch her grandchildren play sports and show their pigs. She was a simple lady that enjoyed the true meaning of life.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Sam and Ruby Birdwell; 1 brother, T. M. Birdwell.

Survivors include: husband, Jimmy Bowen of the home; 1 son and daughter- in-law, Robert and Carol Doak of Rapid City, South Dakota; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Robert Pinnick of Bradley, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren: Jeremy Doak of Rapid City, S.D., Holly Doak of Rapid City, S.D., Kelly Pinnick of Bradley, Oklahoma, John Pinnick of Bradley, Oklahoma; 1 great granddaughter, Madison Clancey of Rapid City, S.D.; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law: Frank and Joyce Birdwell, Paul and Shirley Birdwell, Vernon and Bobbie Birdwell; 1 sister, Freelin Doak.

Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
