Carleta [Wilson] Latham, 1946 - 2013. She was an
avid Bailey, Oklahoma genealogist and provided
many photos and information for our records. She
was a caring person and became a good friend

Bailey History

This cemetery is very old and is in Southern Grady County. A Bailey post office was
established in 1892.

The oldest marked grave: Edington, Freddie L., 22 May 1886 ~ 22 Aug 1888

Latitude ~ 34.715853N, Longitude ~ 97.797981W


~~ Directions: ~~

From Marlow, take Highway 29 east for 8.8 miles and then turn north for 5
miles. At the "T" intersection, turn back east for 1 mile and it's located on the
south side of the road.

From Rush Springs, go 4 miles south on highway 81 to county road 1590, go
east 8 miles, cemetery is on the right.
