Karen [Moore] Williams
April 11, 1947 ~ March 14, 2009


Funeral services for Karewn Williams, 61, of Duncan, Okla., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, in Sevier Funeral Home Chapel of Chickasha, Okla.

Karen Dawn Williams was born April 11, 1947, in Edmond, Okla., to Claude Raymond and Audrey Wanita Orrell Moore. She passed away at her home on Saturday, March 14, 2009.

Karen graduated from Ponca City High School and has lived in the Duncan area since 1969.

She had worked for Halliburton for over 20 years.

She and Jimmy Williams were married July 3, 1969, in Alex.

She is preceded in death by her father, Claude Raymond Moore; a brother, Gary Moore; a nephew, Gary Moore; a niece, Laurie Applegate; a great-niece, Andrea Applegate; an uncle, Charles Moore; and an aunt, Wanda Orrell.

Karen is survived by her husband, Jimmy Williams of the home; two daughters, Janifer Pipkin and husband Jarrell of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jamie Carpenter and husband Brian of Chickasha; her mother, Wanita Suitor of Duncan; grandchildren, Nathan and Luke Pipkin, and Brennan Carpenter; a brother, Gerald Moore and wife Marilyn of Alex; and many members of Jimmy and Karen's family.

Interment will be in Alex, Okla. Cemetery.
