Joseph Franklin Wilkerson
1929 ~ April 6, 1930

Death of Infant

Joseph Franklin, the four weeks' old son of Mr. and Mrs. Reg Wilkerson, was found dead in its bed in their home, Saturday morning, about 6 o'clock, when its father went to see why it was not awake as usual at that time. It had not been sick and was sleeping at 4 o'clock when its parents got up to look about it.

The remains were brought to the home of his mother, Mrs. W. T. Wilkerson, in Alex, Saturday and the funeral services were held Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Elder W. G. Newberry and burial was made in the Morris cemetery southeast of Alex.

The sympathy of all are with the parents in the loss of their first born babe.
