William Durel "Tots" Rodgers
August 19, 1930 ~ May 2, 2011


Funeral service for William Durel "Tots" Rodgers, 80, of Alex, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

William Durel "Tots" Rodgers was born August 19, 1930 in Alex, Oklahoma the son of Willie Irvin Austin and Caroline [Stidham] Rodgers. He died May 2, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Tots lived in Alex his entire life. He was a self-employed truck driver and farmed in the Alex area. He and Lavern Bayless were married October 25, 1948.

Tots was preceded in death by: Parents, 1 son: Danny Randall Rodgers March 1, 1987 1 brother: Duane "Dee" Rodgers, 1 sister: Fian Cannedy.

Survivors include: Wife: Lavern Rodgers of the home, 2 daughters: Priscilla Linton, Diana Gay Jack and husband Robert, 1 sister: Thedra Remington, 6 grandchildren: Kevin James, Lorrie Scifres, Steven Rodgers, Amanda Rossi, Eric Elsener and Amy Elsener, 8 great grandchildren: Randy Alexander, Hunter Scifres, Dakota James, Dalton James, Breanna James, Tyler Rodgers, Ryan Rodgers and Wade Scifres.

Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
