Edith E. [Tramel] Rayburn
September 22, 1917 ~ January 16, 2000


Funeral services for Edith E. Rayburn, 82 of Alex, will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 18 in the First Baptist Church of Alex.

Edith E. Rayburn was born September 22, 1917 in Alex, the daughter of Silas and Bessie [Drake] Tramel, and died Sunday, January 16, in El Reno.

Mrs. Rayburn had lived in Alex since 1948. She worked at Alex school cafeteria for many years.

She and Clarence Rayburn were married in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1996.

Mrs. Rayburn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alex.

Survivors include: sons, Donald Rayburn of Oklahoma City and Terry Rayburn of Blanchard; daughter, Ramona Smith of El Reno; sister Mildred Barbee of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
