John Edward "Johnny" Penney
October 3, 1946 ~ July 14, 2016

Services for Johnny are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Alex Cemetery near Maysville.

On July 14, 2016 Johnny was called home to our Lord God.

Johnny also enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and eating ice cream. He was a talented artist and creator of things from fishing lures, handcrafted flutes or violins to his "famous" blue jean hats.

He is survived by three children, John C. Penney of LA, Stormy Penney Knight of Lone Grove, and Latisha Penney Sawyer of LA; seven grandchildren, Ladessa, Latristan, Haven, Chloe, Cashlyn, Jamelle and Quela; three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Adilynn and Kaison; one special love of his life, Ann Mackey-Penney; and two siblings, David "Dave" Nolen and Jack Nolen; and well as countless nieces and nephews.
