Florence Lenora [Hess] Parsley
September 28, 1923 ~ April 3, 1981


Graveside service for Mrs. Florence Lenora Parsley, 57, of Alex, were held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 6, 1981, with Mr. Thomas Thompson, minister of the Westside Church of Christ of Alex, officiating.

Mrs. Parsley was born September 28, 1923 at Alex and passed away Friday in Grady Memorial Hospital. She had resided in Alex all her life.

She and J. B. Parsley were married December 24, 1941, at Purcell, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Parsley was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, J. B. Parsley of the home, 2 sons, Rick, of the home, and Larry of Clay Center, Kansas; 2 daughters, Mrs. Elroy [Carolyn] Williams of Laverne and Mrs. Craig [Ann] Talley of Cherokee; 1 brother, Frank Hess of Alex; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Interment will be in the Alex Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
