Lois Hayes was born March 28, 1928, and died on Thursday, March 27, 2003, in Minco. Services were under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. 2 April 2003 Lois Gerline "Granny" [Harris] Hayes March 28, 1928 ~ March 27, 2003 Memorial service for Lois G. "Granny" Hayes, 74, of Minco, Oklahoma, was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2003, at the Minco United Methodist Church. Lois G. "Granny" Hayes went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2003. She was born Lois Geraline [correction - Gerline] Harris on March 28, 1928, in the Alex community, to Thomas Jefferson and Mary [Fitzpatrick] Harris. She was a long time resident of the Chickasha and Minco areas. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by parents: Thomas and Mary Harris; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: 5 sons and their wives: Butch and Judy Jarnigan of Ninnekah, Roy and Betty Jarnigan of Duncan, Link and Judy Jarnigan of Ninnekah, Hank and Mary Jarnigan of Rush Springs, PeeWee and Landis Jarnigan of Mississippi; 1 brother: Oliver Harris of Chickasha; 1 sister: Marie Cameron of California; 22 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
