T. Watson Succumbs

Tom D. Watson, 55, Davis businessman, died suddenly Sunday morning of a heart attack while working with his cattle west of Davis. He was owner of the 77 Café which was destroyed by fire last Wednesday morning.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Mary 7, at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist chuch with Rev. Finis Steelman, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Wynnewood View cemetery with Bahner Funeral Home having charge of arrangements.

Watson was born January 14, 1913, at Wynnewood. He lived his early life in the Wynnewood-Davis area and later lived at Wright City before moving to Davis 13 years. Ago.

Pallbearers were Dale Noland, Joe Primrose, Harold Roady, Odie Williams, John Chisolm, and Edwin Samples.

Watson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Tom Watson of the home; his father, Claude Watson of Wynnewood; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Hudson of Wynnewood and Mrs. Vinnie Eaves of West route Davis; and two brothers, Jerry Watson and Oda Watson, both of Wynnewood.
