Richard "Dick" Harvey
June 14, 1940 ~ February 16, 2019


Richard "Dick" Harvey, of Pauls Valley, passed away February 16, 2019 in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years.

Dick was born June 14, 1940 in Davison, Michigan to James Frank and Margaret Jane [Murray] Harvey. Dick was raised in Michigan. He served in the United State Air Force in the late 1958's and moved to make his home in the Garvin County area in the mid to early 1960's. on May 29, 1973 he and Audrey Belle McClain were married in Gainesville, Texas. Dick was a Licensed Pipe Fitter and Plumber and a Member of the Plumber and Pipe Fitters Local 344 as well as a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Harvey; his wife, Audrey Belle Harvey; one daughter, Kim Hucks; and two brothers, Frank "Butch" Harvey and Tim Harvey; as well as several nieces and nephews.

His surviving family include his children, John Hucks of Chigley; Jackie Somers of Davis; and Susan Hucks of Pauls Valley; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews & cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood officiated by Deacon John Warren. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
