Annie E. "Gran" [Boney] Mitchell

Annie E. "Gran" Mitchell, of Wayne was born September 15, 1925 in Blair, Oklahoma to James Aaron and Mary [Hockett] Boney.

"Gran" passed away December 9, 2004 at Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years.

Carl James Mitchell and Annie E. Boney were married in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on July 7, 1941.

She was a loving mother and homemaker and a member of Paoli United Pentecostal Church.

Annie was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Carl James Mitchell on August 26, 1980; 4 children, Larry Keith Mitchell, Roger James Mitchell, Carleen Claunch and Marquetta Webb; and 4 brothers, Paul "Pete" Boney, Roy Boney, O. J. Boney and J. A. Boney.

Surviving family include her 4 children, Shirley Ann Griffith and her husband, Donald, of Sand Springs; Aletha Diane Abney and her husband, Jerry, Norvella Griffith and Carl Aaron Mitchell all of Wayne; 1 sister, Ethel Lorraine Branum, of Warren, Texas; 1 brother, Joel Boney and his wife, Geneva, of Pauls Valley; 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Carl Aaron Mitchell, Matthew Webb, Donald Griffith, Jr., Bobby Webb, James Griffith, and Bryan Fuller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rodger Wayne Webb, Donald Griffith, Sr. and Dennis Boney.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 13, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Paoli United Pentecostal Church officiated by Rev. Terry Erwin. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Theresa Annice [Driskill] Boney

Theresa Annice Boney, of Pauls Valley, was born September 16, 1932 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Willis Alexander and Ruby Mae [Warren] Driskill. She passed away May 10, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the presence of her family at the age of 79 years. Theresa was married to J. A. "Jim" Boney in Pauls Valley, Ok. on January 19, 1952. Together they raised 3 children.

Theresa was an active member of Beaty Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years; 2 brothers, Eugene Driskill and Willis Jr Driskill; 1 sister, Tawana Finch; son in law, Anthony "Tony" Thompson and daughter in law, Angie Boney.

Survivors include her sister, Kacela Wallace, of Midwest City; daughters, Julie DeMoss and her husband, Dan, of Oklahoma City; and Linda Thompson, of Pauls Valley; son, Dennis Boney and his wife, Tammy, of Pauls Valley; her grandchildren, Sarah Durham and her husband, Clay, of Little Elm, Texas; Jamie Thompson, of Norman; Andrea Bickerstaff and her husband, Kris, of Oklahoma City; Adam Becerril, of San Bernadino, California; Amanda Solis and her husband, Vic, of Pauls Valley; Morgan Sloan, of Pauls Valley; and Elise Williamson, of Oklahoma City; great grandchildren, Kaden & Kross Bickerstaff, Mikayla & Christopher Durham, Andy, Jake and Brody Solis.

Theresa dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker and mother. She enjoyed baking, doing things for others and sharing time with special friends. Her greatest joy the last few years was spending time with her grand and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Vic Solis, Clay Durham, Michael Boney, Bobby Scroggins, Johnny Richardson, Shon Richardson and Jesse Munguia.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the Stufflebean Chapel officiated by Pastor Stephen Reid. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home

David Wayne Boney

David Wayne Boney of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Paul "Pete" and Loretta [Lack] Boney on September 27, 1960 and passed from this life on February 27, 2012, at the age of 51 years.

David lived in the home with his family until his special needs required assistance with his care. At age 6, David moved to the Pauls Valley State School [SORC] where he received excellent care. He was very special not only to his family, but to his caregivers as well. David was a very happy child who laughed easily and was easy to love. Though the doctors initially didn't give us much hope, this family has been blessed by the 51 years David gave us.

David is survived by his mother, Loretta Boney of Pauls Valley, OK, two brothers, Danny Boney of San Antonio, TX Steve Boney of Pauls Valley, OK one sister, Janet [Boney] Ayache of Pauls Valley, OK, two nephews, Billy Boney of San Antonio, TX, Eric Boney of San Antonio, TX and one niece, Alisha Boney of Norman, OK.

David was preceded in death by his father, Pete Boney.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 10:30 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Dr. Joe Elam.

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.

Angie [Phillips] Boney

Angie Boney of Pauls Valley was born August 6, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Goldie Phillips. She was called home suddenly to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 46 years.

She was married to the love of her life, Dennis Boney, on April 12, 1980. They were blessed with 26 years of marriage and two daughters, Andrea and Amanda.

The joys of Angie's life were her family, finding bargains at garage sales, shopping, craft shows and spending lots of time with her grandson who called her "MiMi."

She is preceded in death by her father-in-law, J.A. Boney.

Surviving family include her husband, Dennis; daughters: Andrea Bickerstaff and her husband, Kris, and their son, Kaden, of McKinney, Texas, and Amanda Boney, of the home; her mother, Goldie Phillips and her husband, Gerald; her sister, Arlita, and her daughters, Alayna and Ricki, all of Pauls Valley; one brother, Allen, of Salt Lake City, Utah; her mother-in-law, Theresa Boney of Pauls Valley; sister-in-law, Linda Thompson, and nieces, Jamie Thompson, and Sarah Durham and her husband, Clay, of Little Elm, Texas; sister-in-law, Julie Demoss and her husband, Dan, and their son, Adam and daughter, Elise, all of Oklahoma City.

Angie was loved by all and never met a stranger.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 13, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
