Pauline [Rush] Arden
Pauline Arden, of Pauls Valley, passed away May 13, 2014 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years.
She was born August 31, 1919 in Texas to Will M. and Bertha [Climer] Rush.
She earned her C. N. A. and worked in Healthcare for the Colonial Nursing Home for 15 years.
Pauline has made Pauls Valley her home since 1940.
She and Lillard Arden were married in Gainesville, Texas in 1968 and she was a member of Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Bertha Rush; and her husband, Lillard Arden.
Surviving family include her son and his wife, Charles and Zelma Tennison of Pauls Valley; grandchildren, Larry Tennison and his wife, Gretchen; Ron and his wife, Cindi; and Anita Whaley and her husband, Nolan; 9 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; one step son, Nick Arden; and step daughter, Darlene Pierce, both of Oklahoma City.
The family will receive friends at the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Roger Rounsaville and Rev. Billy Bowles.
Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements and interment are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
