Roger Ernest Allen
February 29, 1960 ~ October 31, 2014


Roger Ernest Allen, of Pauls Valley, passed away October 31, 2014 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years.

Roger was born February 29, 1960 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Jack and Jody [Mantooth] Allen.

He grew up in Pauls Valley and is a 1978 Pauls Valley High School graduate; he furthered his education a East Central University in Ada and Midwest Christian College in Midwest City. He enjoyed playing basketball in high school and in his college years. He earned his Bachelors Degree and went on to earn his Masters Degree in Special Education from East Central University. Roger has worked as a substitute Teacher and was a exceptional Tutor.

The Pauls Valley area has been his home all of his life and a member of Valley Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Jody; and his half brother, Bill Davis.

Surviving family includes his father, Jack Allen of Pauls Valley; his sister, Pamela Allen Murphy and her husband, John, two nieces, Jessy Murphy and Nicole Murphy; and one nephew, Jackson Murphy, all of Stillwater; a host of cousins, aunts and uncles as well as his faithful companion, Eli, his Golden Retriever.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Larry Cornforth and Bruce Ford.

Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
