Corene [Colbert] Miles
Birth: March 28, 1916
Death: August 8, 2007

Daughter of Sam and Nealie Bell [Jackson] Colbert.

Corene grew up in the rural area near Elmore City and attended school at Avritt View southeast of Katie, Oklahoma.

On September 11, 1930, Corene married Ike Miles in Elmore City, Oklahoma.

Corene was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and cooking but most of all enjoyed serving her Lord.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and served as Sunday school superintendent, a Sunday school teacher and local mission president.

The highlight of her life was her family. The most important things she taught others about life were to be happy, work hard and stay with the Lord.
