Elizabeth [Terry] Nation
September 11, 1920 ~ June 5, 2010


Elizabeth Nation age 89 of Cushing went to her new home in Heaven, Saturday morning, June 5, 2010 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Elizabeth was born on September 11, 1920 in Elmore City, Oklahoma and was the daughter of Clifton W. W. and Johnnie [Underwood] Terry. She grew up in Elmore City, graduating from High School in 1937.

She worked as a Shaklee Dealer and worked as a volunteer at the First United Church in Elmore City, and at the First Nazarene Church in California. She lived in California from 1955 until 2005 when she moved back to Cushing to be near her daughter and family.

She is survived by a son, Terry Nation and Pam Stalcup of Lindsborg, Kansas and a daughter, Beth Erwin and husband Bill of Cushing. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lissa Lozier Matthew McConnell, Janice Cooper and husband Curtis, and two great grandchildren Jayson Cooper and Nathan Cooper.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband in 1979, brothers Joe Terry and Thell Terry; Sisters, Nadine Jividen and Lafern Cunnius.

Memorial Services have been entrusted to the care of the Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Cushing and will be held at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Cushing at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 10, 2010. Interment will follow at Elmore City Cemetery, Elmore City, OK.
