October 26, 1966 - October 22, 2019

Ulman Raymond Chism was born on October 26, 1966 to Ulman Gilbert and Elwanda Mae Chism in Oregon City, Oregon. He passed away in his home on October 22, 2019.

Raymond dropped out of school at a young age to work and take care of his family and later went on to receive his GED at the age of 46. Raymond liked to think of himself as a "Jack of all trades, master of none." Most of his life was spent working on a farm. Raymond loved anything to do with nature, especially horses. He taught many young people to hunt and ride. Raymond never knew a stranger and was always willing to give the shirt off of his back. For being such a little guy, he had a huge heart. He was always 100% or nothing. He was very proud of the children he helped raise.

He was survived by his wife, Dorothy Chism; daughter, April Millican; son, Jeremiah Chism; daughter, Jennifer Turney; daughter, Amy Hill; son, Colton Chism; daughter, Callie Chism; 12 grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Hudson, Diane Pacula, Tammie Fain, and Tabatha Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Porterfield.

Raymond will be remembered and celebrated on Monday October 28th at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Hunter, 121 E Osage Street. Burial will follow at the White Cemetery outside of Hunter. Memorials may be made to Wilson Funeral Home. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK.
