White Cemetery


Celebration of Life Service for Paula Eileen Howard, 76 of Enid, is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the White Cemetery in Hunter at a later date. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.

Paula was born October 18, 1946, in Enid, OK to Douglas and Betty Moore Benson and passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in Enid. She graduated from Enid High School in 1964, and later graduated from Phillips University in 1967 with a B.S. in chemistry. Paula was a lab tech at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center for fifty years. Paula enjoyed gardening, camping and knitting blankets for loved ones.

She married Charles Howard on June 6, 1989 in Enid where they made their home.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jennifer Benson. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Joy Ruiz and husband Craig and Bobby Howard and wife Heather, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a sister, Kathy Walker.
