October 11, 1899 - June 2, 1986

Services for Mrs. Orval (Lillie) Robertson, 86, 2210 N. Quincy, will be 2 PM Thursday at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Lewis Corporon and reader Charles Divelbiss officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the funeral home.

Robertson died Monday, June 2, 1986 at a local nursing home. She was born October 11, 1899, in Amorita. She came to Enid as a young girl with her parents W. E. and Luella Sands. On October 11, 1919, she married Orval Robertson in Medford. They lived on a farm northeast of Enid until 1946, when they moved to Enid. She was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist, the Eastern Star, the Ruth Chapter, and the Excelsior Chapter of ABWA with 25 years of perfect attendance. She also was a member of the Work Basket Club and worked for Huffman Floral for 14 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Deloras Oringderff and Iretta Terrel, both of Enid; two sisters, Daisy Washburn and Katie Daykin, both of Enid; two brothers, Lonnie Sands, Enid, and Walter Sands, Kansas City, Kansas; four granddaughters and seven great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. The funeral home will serve as custodian of the funds. The family will be at 314 N. 17th.
