Mrs. C. B. (Nora) Krout, 74, a life – long resident of Oklahoma, died Sunday morning in a local hospital. She had been in ill health for the past 10 years.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 AM in the Chapel of the Fossett Funeral Home, with Rev. H. Ray Bridgman officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Fossett Funeral Home.
Born in Braman in 1895, she married Cyrus B. Krout May 1, 1915 at Dill City. In February 1953 they moved to Enid where she made her home until her death. She attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Cyrus, of the home at 111 W. Locust; two sons, Gilbert of Enid and Charles of Kansas City, Missouri; five daughters, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Via, Richmond, Virginia; and Mrs. Charles F. (Vera) James, Mrs. Rex (Elsie) Morgan, Mrs. Wayne (Ethel) Dayton, and Mrs. Bell McMillion, all of Enid; two brothers, Walter Howard, Enid, and Ralph Howard, Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Parsons and Mrs. James Adams, both of Oklahoma City; and 15 grandchildren and three great – grandchildren.
