The funeral for Barbara J. Koch, 87 year old Enid resident is 11:00AM Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Rev. Chuck Coulter officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Barbara was born November 11, 1936 in Canton, Oklahoma to Andrew and Arzella (Kopf) Coyle and died Sunday, December 17, 2023 in Enid.
She married Leon E. McKinney in 1952 in the Church of God in Enid. They later divorced.
On October 10, 1966 she married George F. Koch and the couple made their home in Enid. Barbara waited tables at the old Polly and Peggy's and was also a housekeeper for several families in Enid.
She was a long-time member of the First Church of God.
She and George enjoyed fishing at Canton Lake.
She is survived by her son Steven McKinney and wife Sheryl and daughter Cindy Koch and fiancee Kenny Hayes. Granddaughters Bridget and husband Wayne Huffman, April and husband Charles Ford. , and Megan and husband Josh Barr, Sarah and husband Ethan Jeffryes. Grandsons Arnold McKinney Jr. and fiancee Tonya, Derek McKinney wife Billie Jo, Austin McKinney and girlfriend Ashley Ramsey, Daughter -in-law Tanya and husband Chris Prochaska, one brother Tommy Coyle and wife Carol, two sisters Lovera Howerton and Dolores Diggs. Along with numerous great-grandchildren and her furbaby Polly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, her brother Jerry Coyle, sister Carol Osburn, step-son George Koch Jr., three sons, Arnold McKinney, Andrew(Andy) McKinney, and Paul McKinney and one daughter Paula McKinney and one great-grandson Grady McKinney.
