Manford, OK - Graveside services for Thomas "Tom" Eppinette, 76, of Enid, Oklahoma, were held Monday, November 2, 1998 at the Memorial Park Garden Chapel at 1:00PM with the Rev. Ivan Kutz officiating. Burial was under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Homes.
Me. Eppinette died at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK on Thursday, October 29, 1998.
He was born July 18, 1922 in Start, Louisiana. He served in the Army during World War II until he was severely wounded during the Normandy Invasion.
He was a longtime resident of Enid, Oklahoma, where he worked in the Enid School System for 32 years.
Mr. Epinette was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Shellenberger, and his parents, Lawrence and Emma Epinette.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; a daughter, Sharon Lohse of Fort Worth, TX; two sons - Doug Eppinette of Sapula, OK and John Eppinette of Georgia; a brother, Robert L. Eppinette and his wife, Myrtis, of Bossier City, LA; and a sister, Inez Jones of Bastrop, LA.
