OBITUARY

Mrs. T. A. (Christine) Eggers 87, formerly of 1615 East Broadway, died Saturday morning in a local nursing home following a period of ill health.

She was born Oct. 5, 1886 in Breman, Kan. and came to Oklahoma following her marriage to T. A. Eggers in 1908. They settled in the Fairmont community and came to Enid in 1953 and have resided here since.

Her husband died in 1966. She also was preceded in death by her son Edwin and a daughter, Miranda Melles, one sister, and two brothers.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Lorene) Roggow, Hunter; amd Mrs. Fred (Opal) Rieisen, of Enid; four sons, Alfred and Merl both of Enid; Marion and Everett of Fairmont; A brother Fred Pralle of Enid; and a sister, Mrs. Sophia Stenglrmeier of Washington, Kan.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Eggers was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Pauls Lutheran Church with the Rev. Kenneth Wade and A. Meitler officating. Burial will be in Memorial Park with Ladusau-Evans in charge.
