John B. Regier, 65 died at his home on West Palm Monday afternoon, following a five-day illness.

He was a native of York, Neb. and came to Oklahoma soon after the opening of the strip with his parents, settling on a farm north of Enid.

The first meeting of the Mennonite Brethren in the Enid community was in the home of his parents. They helped form the North Mennonite Brethern church of Enid.

Mr. Regier was a member of the First Presbyterian church. He is survived by his wife of the home, and five sisters. Mrs. Frank Harms; Mrs. Elizabeth Dalke; Mrs. Pete Cornelson; Mrs. Frank Hamm; and Mrs. Abe Hamm, three brothers, Ben, Pete and Jake.
