October 31, 1977 - September 6, 2021

Funeral services for Dr. Grant Janzen, age 43, of Abilene, Texas, formerly of Enid, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Cross Point Church, with Rev. Asher Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Mennonite Brethren Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Grant Janzen was born in Enid, Oklahoma, to Dr. Dwayne and Mrs. Carol Janzen on October 31, 1977, and passed away Monday, September 6, 2021. He completed training as a retina surgeon and worked for 11 years at West Texas Retina Consultants.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Jennifer Janzen; four children, daughters Brooke and Rachel, sons Luke and Ben; parents, Dr. Dwayne and Mrs. Carol Janzen; brother, Craig Janzen; sister, Chelsey Wolever and husband Kent.

Pallbearers will be Craig Janzen, Brett Fleming, Michael Fleming, Kent Wolever, Jeff Janzen, and Stephen Janzen.

Memorial donations may be given to the non-profit organization Abilene Fresh or to the Mennonite Foundation, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks to friends, colleagues, coworkers, those who prolonged life with blood and plasma donations, and to the doctors and nurses who ministered healing.
