March 31, 1957 - March 14, 2021

The celebration of Terry Lee Smith's life will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he was a long-time member, on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00pm, with Reverend Wade Burleson officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Terry was born March 31, 1957 to parents, Albert Smith and Elwanda Vogt Smith in Toledo, Ohio. He was a man with a lot of love to give and a big heart that gave out on him as he left us on Sunday, March 14, 2021.

He grew up and graduated from Woodward High School in Toledo. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Enid in 1976 where he proudly enlisted into the Oklahoma National Guard on Nov 1976 until Jan 2001 and dedicated over 40 years at Vance Air Force Base performing aircraft maintenance. He married Angela Lee at First Baptist of Enid on Dec 14, 1985. He loved being a father to their children, Joshua and Michelle, giving them life skills, teaching them to build and fix things. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Alex and Isabella, whom he took great joy in watching grow up. He always had an interest in cabinet making, ancestry, and being a ham radio operator.

His boisterous, hearty laugh and joyful spirit will be fondly remembered.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elwanda and father, Albert.

He is survived by his wife, Angela; children, Joshua and Michelle (David); grandchildren, Alex and Isabella; brothers, Danny and Tim Smith; sisters, Tracy Dally, Trudy Johnson and Tammy Smith; other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF-Diabetes Division. Condolences may be made at www.andersonburris.com.
