The Memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Karen Russell will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday September 24, 2020 in the Enid Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Enabnit officiating under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home

She was born August 24, 1942 to Clarence James and Dolly May Wells Wilson in Woodward, Oklahoma and passed from this life September 19, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Woodward where she graduated from Woodward High School in 1960. She attended Enid Business College and worked for the Enid State School for the Director of Psychology for two years. She married Bill Russell on December 23, 1983 in Miami, Oklahoma. Karen began working for Security National Bank on December 31, 1963 where she was the Secretary to the Board and oversaw payroll. She worked for Security National Bank for over fifty-four years. She was a member of the Enid Running Club and enjoyed road biking and loves her Schnauzers.

She is survived by her husband Bill Russell, of the home, one stepson Christopher Todd, of Anamosa, Iowa; one sister; and her schnauzers, Maggie and Bailey

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, and four brothers.

Memorials may be made in her name to the CDSA and the National Jewish Health Hospital of Denver.
