Janice Kay Holcomb Pittman was born September 9th, 1948, in Enid, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents A.L. Fred Holcomb and Goldie Rodgers and brother Randall Roy Holcomb. She is survived by her son Aaron Pittman (Kristin), daughter Julie Monnot, Grandchildren Felicity and Michael Monnot, Ellison and Gage Pittman, and her ex-husband and friend, Roy Pittman.

Janice was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma. She graduated high school in 1966 where she graduated 5th in her class of over 500. She earned a bachelor's degree in education from Phillips University and a Master's degree in counseling from the University of Tulsa.

In college she worked as a telephone operator for AT&T. After earning her degree, Jan began a 30-year career with Jenks Public Schools teaching 3rd and 4th grade. Jan was a staple of the Jenks community as a Boy Scout and Camp Fire leader. Jan always did what was best for her children, even working more than one job at a time as a single parent to provide for them. She was tenacious, tough, and always achieved what she set out to do. After retiring she continued a 10-year career with Dillard's, also worked as an Avon representative, bringing joy and fellowship to her customers. Jan continued to serve the teaching community as an investment consultant with OFG Financial Services until illness prevented her from doing so. She found great joy in helping her children and grandchildren in any way she could. She believed strongly in family, faith and community and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched throughout her life.

A graveside service will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 2020-11-11 at Enid Cemetery , 212 West Willow Road, Enid, OK, USA.

A funeral service will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on 2020-11-11 at Moore Funeral Home , 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, OK, USA.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on 2020-11-10 at Moore Funeral Home , 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, OK, USA.
