June 6, 1920 - June 11, 2013

The funeral service for Tommy Dan Morrill, age 93, will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kenneth Wade will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Visitation with family will be 7-8 this evening at the funeral home.

Tommy was born to Daniel and Iola Morrill June, 6, 1920, in Carmi, Illinois, and passed away Monday, June 11, 2013. Tommy worked on the family farm until he entered the U.S. Army and then went to work in oil fields in Illinois and Colorado. Tommy worked on the family farm until he entered the U.S. Army and then went to work in oil fields in Illinois and Colorado. He married Betty McCall February 8, 1963, in Sterling, Colorado. They moved to Oklahoma to work in the oil fields in 1963, and then he retired and went to work for First United Methodist Church and Walmart.

He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, where he was an elder. Tommy enjoyed camping and belonged to a camping club and traveled several places.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; five children, Yuevettee Fennell of Sterling, Colorado, Linda Cullip of Akron, Colorado, Jeff Zapp of Enid, Barb Phillips of Dallas, Texas, Candy Gallegos of Allen, Texas; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Bob Morrill of Carmi, Illinois.

February 21, 1930 - November 10, 2020

Betty Jean Morrill of McKinney, Texas, passed away Nov. 10, 2020, at the age of 90. She was born on Feb. 21, 1930, to George Jacob McCall and Barbara Rose (Zeisller) McCall in Lexington, Neb. Betty was married to the late Tommy Morrill. After moving to McKinney in 2017, she became very active at her senior living apartment complex. She was a loving homemaker to her family. Betty was a longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Enid, Okla.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Phillips of Allen, Texas, and Candy Gallegos and husband, Robert, all of Allen, Texas; son, Jeff Zapp and Diana Staton of Enid, Okla.; grandchildren, Lindsay Mathewson, Ashley Curtis and husband, Brent, Nicholas Taylor and wife, Courtney, Amanda Taylor, Mackenzie Capp, MaKayla Capp, Zachary Gallegos, Zoey Gallegos and Chrissy Alley; great-grandchildren, Hayden Curtis, Kamden Taylor, Truly Taylor, Karter Mathewson and Logan Alley; great-great-grandchild, Karson Baker; numerous other loving family and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Morrill; parents, George and Barbara McCall; and grandson, M.J. Gallegos.

A "come and go" visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14, 2020, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

In support of our local, state and federal government including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Memorial Service.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Betty's obituary page by clicking on the following link: Celebrationoflife.tv. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Betty and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
