April 22, 1954 - March 14, 2018

Funeral service for Carl Lightfield, 63 of Enid, will be Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Terry O’Toole officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation with family will be Sunday 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Carl was born on April 22, 1954 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Joe Carl and Jo Anne (Campbell) Lightfield and passed away on March 14, 2018 at his home.

Carl grew up in Chickasha. He graduated from Chickasha High School and then made his home there until he moved to Enid in 1985. Carl was the owner and operator of Big Country Meat Market. He was a bull rider for 15 years and an eagle scout. Carl loved to travel and enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, scuba diving, and his greatest joy was spending time with his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Lightfield, and his mother.

Carl is survived by his children Hollee Terry (Philip), Chad Lightfield (Jennifer Cost), Ceth Lightfield (Natalie), and Greg Lightfield (Jennifer); six grandchildren; father Joe Lightfield; friend, Marty Fisher; brother, Kirk Lightfield (Michelle); and sister, Kathy Manning.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF-Cancer.
