MRS. BERTHA KERR, ENID PIONEER DIES

A lingering illness proved fatal for Bertha Mae Kerr, 56 year old Enid pioneer resident who died Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. at her home, at 601 West Oklahoma.

Mrs. Kerr has been a resident of Enid since March 1901. She is survived by her husband L. H. Kerr of the home; two sons Frank L. and Carl J. of Enid, a sister, Mrs. Clarence Hopkins of Churdan, Iowa, four brothers, Will A. and Earl J. Newingham of Enid, Curtis C. Newingham of East Moline, Ill. and Roy E, Newingham of Topeka, Kan.

The funeral will be Tuesday morning at 10:o'clock in the First Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. T. P. Haskins officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.
