April 27, 1932 - March 31, 2021

Funeral service for Ronald Jones, 88, will be Monday, April 5, 2021, at 1:00 p.m in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lester Lowry officiating. Private family burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

Ronald was born on April 27, 1932, in Belleville, Kansas, to Charles and Dorthy Clark Jones and died on March 31, 2021, at home with his family by his side.

Ronald grew up in Belleville and graduated from Belleville High School. He enlisted into the U.S. Navy on June 25, 1951, and served until June 24, 1955, in the Korean War. On June 4, 1966, he married Barbara Jorene Crites in Enid, where they made their home. Ronald worked for many years at Champlin Refinery. He was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church. Ronald enjoyed fishing, playing board games, and going to Branson with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jorene; daughter, Lynn; brother, Bill; sisters, Marilyn, Danna and Joanna.

He is survived by his daughters, Gwendolyn (Mike) Vance, Lorrie (Dave) Fansler, Joleta (Bennie) Harjo and Marjel (Steve) Crow; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Evangel Assembly of God Church. Condolences may be made online at www.andersonburris.com.
