Harry W. Griffin, 60, Marshall, lumber yard owner and pioneer lumberman of this section, died Wednesday afternoon at an Enid hospital. He had previously been in the lumber business at Cleo Springs, Okeene and elsewhere in the Cherokee Strip.

He is survived by his wife of the home at Marshall; two daughters, Mrs. Con Matheson and Mrs. Paul Kieffer, both of Enid; two sons, Lieutenant Ross Griffin, fighting in Germany, and Gene of the home; a sister, Miss Emma Griffin, Guthrie; two brothers, Howard Griffin, Guthrie, and Bruce Griffin, Omaha, Nebraska; and a grandchild.

Arrangements for the funeral are pending at the Darnall Funeral Home, Enid.
