July 30, 1935 - February 26, 2021

A home going celebration for Pearlean Christine Gordon, 85 of Enid, will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Abundant Life Temple with Rev. Dusty Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Pearlean was born on July 30, 1935 in Crocketts Bluff, Arkansas to Sam and Mary Williams and ascended into heaven on Friday, February 26, 2021 in Enid.

Pearlean was raised in Arkansas and moved when she was fourteen. She lived in Detroit, Seattle, Los Angeles, and then Oklahoma. She worked as a cook, a retail manager at Goodwill, she took care of her ill mother after she retired. Pearlean was truly a giving person and she loved being a servant. She was a joyful happy person who accomplished anything she set her mind to. Some of her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family, and friends and taking her grandchildren to church. Pearlean was a member of Abundant Life Temple. On June 23, 1990 Pearlean married Vincent Gordon in Los Angeles, California. Pearlean will be remembered as a lover and a fighter.

Pearlean is survived by her husband Vincent Gordon; daughters Benita Cole, Dorothy Gordon, and Marcrisha Allen; 19 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother Ivory Reed; and sisters Lynda Blue, Patricia Williams, and Toni Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lawrence Montgomery and Ricky “Jewel” Williams, sisters Ernestine King, Thelma Blue, and daughter Delores Randall.
