February 7, 1940 - July 16, 2006

The funeral for Maria DeJesusa (Leal) Garibay, 66-year-old Enid resident, will be 10 AM Thursday, July 20, 2006, at Henninger – Allen Funeral Chapel. Pastor Marilyn Murray will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger – Allen Funeral home.

Maria was born February 7, 1940, in Benavides, Texas to Cosme and Maria (González) Leal and died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at her residence. She married Aristeo Garibay November 15, 1953, in Crosby, Texas. She worked as a CNA at Sunnyside Center in Enid.

She is survived by her husband, Aristeo, of the home; daughters, Olga Vega, Frances Garibay and Alicia Estrada, all of Enid; brothers, Cosme Leal Jr. of Rosharon, Texas; sister, Juanita Leal of Alice, Texas; five grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.
