August 16, 1932 - November 14, 2018

Funeral service for Margaret “Jane” (Morgan) Denker, 86, of rural Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Monday, November 19, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Private family entombment will be in Enid Cemetery Mausoleum, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening 6:00PM. To 8:00PM, at the funeral home.

Jane passed away after a short illness on November 14, 2018. She was born in Enid on August 16, 1932 to A.P. Morgan and Mae (Jenkins) Morgan. Preceding her in death were her parents, two sisters, and a brother. Her surviving family include her husband of 68 years Tom Denker, six children Patty (Paul) Shepard of Moore, Ok, Rick (Janet) Denker of Oklahoma City, Ok, Sally (Les) Clickner, Randy (Pam) Denker, all of Enid, David (Beth) Denker of Garland, TX, and Tim Denker of Dallas, TX, 16 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

Jane was a 1950 graduate of Enid High School. She continued to organize and enjoy activities with her classmates through the years. She was a member of Bethany Home Extension Club for over 65 years and was named Garfield County Homemaker of the Year. She was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church and the Sooner Sunday School Class. Jane was an avid supporter of Pioneer School. She and her husband, Tom, had children or grandchildren attending Pioneer School for 55 years straight. They continued to attend and support events after they had no remaining family at Pioneer. Over the years Jane has helped many friends and volunteered for many organizations, and community activities throughout the county.

Memorials may be made to the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Academic Foundation, the Garfield County OHCE Scholarship Fund or the First United Methodist Church.
