Funeral service for Herman Davis, 71, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Lyle Buller officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Herman was born Jan. 29, 1942, in Clinton, Okla., to Herman and Berdeen (Hays) Davis and passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013.

Herman graduated from Clinton High School and attended college at SWOSU in Weatherford.

He worked in construction and was a truck driver, and then moved to Enid after a work-related accident.

Herman was a member of Family Life Missions Church and enjoyed woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Herman is survived by his son, Nathan Davis of Oklahoma; brother, Harold Davis of Lawton; sisters, Joyce Elkins of Florida, and Mary Havens of Enid; and several nieces and nephews.
