Enid Man Dies

Enid, November 30 – (AP) – John D. Brown, 68, water superintendent here, died in an Enid hospital Monday night. Death was attributed to a heart ailment.

Services Wednesday For John D. Brown

Funeral services for John D. Brown, 68, where held at 2 PM Wednesday with a reader of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, in charge.

Stricken last Friday afternoon with an internal hemorrhage, Brown was taken to an Enid hospital. He died Monday at 6 PM.

Pallbearers were G. A. Walker, Clint O. Thrasher, Paul Russell, T. F. Shipley, Ross Taylor and Kenneth Martin.

Brown served as water commissioner for 14 years and was Enid water superintendent at the time of his death.
