Tye Jacob Anderson, 74, died Tuesday afternoon after a lengthy illness.

Services will be held 2:30 PM Thursday at the Fossett Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. R. Jack Featherston will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Memorial Cemetery.

Anderson was born in Enterprise, Missouri, August 30, 1898, coming to Enid with his parents as a small child. He married the former Mae Peckham January 15, 1945 in Enid.

He was a former civil service employee at VAFB and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mae, of the home; one son, Lloyd, Akron, Ohio; one brother, Virgil, Morrison, Colorado; and two sisters, Mrs. Tempest Linginfelter, Enid, and Mrs. Mary Thyfalt, Marysville, Kansas.
