Celebration of Life Service for Wayne McZegle, 71, will be Monday, June 20, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. www.andersonburris.com

August 2, 1950 - June 16, 2022

Celebration of Life for Wayne Wesley McZegle, 71 Enid, will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2022 in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. Wayne was born August 2, 1950 in Dover, OK to George and Bertha Shotts McZegle and passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 in Enid.

He graduated from Enid High School class of 1968. He later served in the United States Army in Germany and during the Vietnam era. He married Susan Mills in December of 1976.

Wayne worked for forty years as a flour miller for Pillsbury Mills and later ADM Milling Co.

He and Susan had celebrated forty-five and a half years of loving marriage expressed by words and actions.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, George McZegle and mother, Bertha Kruse and step-father, Vernon Kruse and two sisters, Mary Ann Robertson and Barbara Walter. He is survived by his wife Susan, sisters Karen Wazny, Galan Ann Miller, Georgetta Young and Kari Eads and brothers Ronald McZegle, Darrell Kruse and David McZegle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made through the funeral home to OMRF-Heart Division.
