March 27, 1941 - January 21, 2022

Celebration of Life Service for Sondra Hays, 80, will be Friday, January 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Anderson-Burris Funeral Chapel. Private family burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

Sondra was born March 27, 1941 in Anthony, Kansas to Howard and Juanita Replogle Crites and died January 21, 2022 in Enid, Oklahoma.

She grew up in Jet and graduated from Jet High School. On July 8, 1971, she married Robert "Bob" Hays in Huntsville, Arkansas and they made their home in Enid. Sondra was a member of Evangel Assembly of God Church and always believed in prayer and God. She would pray for everyone daily and read her Bible. Sondra was an administrative assistant for the Enid Board of Education for 46 years, before retiring. She loved family vacations in Branson, Missouri. She enjoyed watching OU Football and the Thunder. Sondra loved cooking and baking for family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jorene; brother, Denny; and granddaughter, Kandace.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; daughters, Cindy Presa and Carmela Taylor; stepchildren, Debbie Genereaux, Richard Hays, and Robin Exton; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren; nieces and other relatives.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Evangel Assembly of God Church
