Bennie Lee Harjo
October 7, 1961 - January 16, 2022

Funeral service for Bennie Harjo will be Friday, January 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend David Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Bennie was born on October 7, 1961, in Wetumka, Oklahoma, to Benjamin and Christine Marshall Harjo and died on January 16, 2022, in Enid.

He graduated from Graham Public Schools in 1979 in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Bennie loved fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. He moved to Enid in 2012 and married Joleta Clark on March 1, 2013. He attended Evangel Assembly of God Church. Bennie loved his work family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mandy Harjo and James Harjo.

Bennie is survived by his wife, Joleta; children, Leslie Juarez and Jonathan (Charlene) Harjo; grandchildren, Lily, Victoria and Aleah Juarez, Amelia and Aiden Harjo; brothers, Drew Johnson, Frank Harjo and William Harjo; sisters, Mary Wagner, Karen Powell, Anna Harjo and Judy Montiel; other relatives.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Evangel Assembly of God Church or the funeral home for funeral expenses. Condolences may be made online at www.andersonburris.com.
