A Celebration of Life for Ann Wooten Glass, 84, Oklahoma City, formerly of Fairmont, is 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Tommy Donaldson officiating. Interment follows in Enid Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ann was born July 17, 1932, in Charlotte, N.C., to Melvin O. Wooten and Dorothy (Hunter) Wooten, and passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016, in Oklahoma City.

Ann grew up in Derita, N.C., where she met her husband, Kenneth, during his service in the United States Army. They married April 23, 1955, in Charlotte, N.C., then moved to Dumas, Texas, where they raised their two children. They moved to Fairmont in 1979. She and Kenneth were long-time members of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Enid.

Ann had many hobbies, but enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. She enjoyed taking pictures, scrapbooking, and making crafts. Some of her favorite times included making Sunday dinner (roast) for her family, and the annual elk hunting trip to their ranch in Craig, Colo. She also enjoyed spending time with her ladies group in Fairmont.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Glass; and brother, Melvin O. Wooten Jr.

Ann is survived by her two children, Kay Ann Clawson and husband, Randy, of Mustang; son, Kenny Glass and wife, Terri, of Perry; three grandchildren, Jennifer Bird and husband, Matthew, of Yukon; Stephanie Clawson and husband, Joaquin Trujillo, of Yukon; Brandon Reinhardt, of Covington; and three great-grandchildren, Seth, Kara, and Carsten.

Memorials in Ann's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
