Aaron Duane Craig
November 1, 1939 - February 20, 2023

Graveside service for Aaron Duane Craig, 83, of Kremlin, will be Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in Enid Cemetery Chapel, with Pastor Carl Roberts officiating. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Aaron was born on November 1, 1939, in Sayre, Oklahoma, to Otis and Emma (McGuiness) Craig and passed away on February 20, 2023, in Enid.

He graduated from Merritt High School in Elk City, Oklahoma, in 1957. Aaron married Velma Taggart on April 18, 1960. Aaron served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964. He then went to telegraph school in Colorado. Aaron began his career with the Rock Island Railroad. He worked in various stations until his retirement from Union Pacific. He then worked at Oklahoma Tax Commission for 11 years. Aaron could fix anything and was curious how things worked. He enjoyed playing the guitar and piano. He attended Grace Ministries.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Juell, Odessa, and Valeria.

Aaron is survived by his wife, Velma; three sons, Steven and his wife Allison, Barry, Jason Craig; five grandchildren, Rachel, Kelsey, Connor, Jillian, Emma; one great-grandchild, Oliver, and one on the way; other relatives and friends.
