Enid Cemetery



CHALFANT - Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Chalfant, 51, who died Friday morning at the home of relatives northwest of Enid, were held Sunday afternoon in the Henninger Funeral home chapel, with burial in the Enid cemetery.

Mrs. Chalfant made her home with her brother, J.G. Osburn, 805 East Cherokee.

Coming here from Cameron, Mo., she had resided in Enid for 38 years. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and belonged to the Enid Rebekah lodge No. 21.

Survivors besides her brother are a daughter, Mrs. Charles Harvey, Enid, and four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Franklin, Lawton; Mrs. J.D. Hendrickson, Newton, Kans.; Mrs. E.A. Miller, Fort Scott, Kan.; Mrs. Homer Roberts, Enid.
