Wednesday, May 23rd, 1928 - Sunday, March 26th, 2023

Graveside services for Melba Lou Brickman, 94, of Enid, will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Enid Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Gary Miller officiating. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Melba was born May 23, 1928 in Enid to Clifford and Cora (Wadlow) Shaw, and passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Golden Oaks Village.

Melba attended Enid Public Schools, graduating in 1946. Following high school, she attended Enid Business College. She married Casey Brickman on May 23, 1948 at Central Christian Church and they made their home on the farm in the Pioneer community where they raised their two children, Gary and Linda. After the children were grown, Melba worked full time at Central National Bank, retiring after 20 years.

Melba is survived by her two children, Gary Brickman and wife Connie, of Enid; Linda Ross of Enid; two grandchildren, Jason Brickman and wife Jennifer, of Edmond; Shelley Kays and husband Jason, of Oklahoma City; five great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Casey Brickman; two twin sisters, Arlene Clark and Nadine Price.

Memorial contributions in Melba's name may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
