January 17, 1929 - November 1, 2019

Funeral services for Bobbie Lee Sheffield, 90, Enid resident, will be held on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Graceway Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Sheffield officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Covington Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the United States Army.

Bobbie was born on January 17, 1929 in Clebit, Oklahoma, the son of Robert E Lee Sheffield and Lula Hicks Sheffield, and passed away peacefully on November 1, 2019 in Enid.

Bobbie was raised in Tipton, Oklahoma where he attended school. He served a grateful nation in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bobbie married Joann Kathryn Price on June 27, 1953 in Enid, Oklahoma. They lived in Billings, moving to Enid in 1962 where Bobbie worked for Gold Spot Dairy. Bobbie became an Associate Pastor of Bible Baptist Church, later working for Champlain Refinery. Bobbie loved hunting quail and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Joann of the residence; daughter, Valerie and husband Buddy McCamey of Enid son, Tony and wife Eileen Sheffield of Maypearl, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren (two more on the way); sister, Juanita Hampton of Battiest, Oklahoma, and daughter-in-law, Cindy Shefffield of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Bobbie was preceded in passing by his parents, son, Mike Sheffield, brother, Bill Sheffield, sister, Dorothy Moss.

The family requests memorial checks be made payable to First Baptist Church Building Fund of Maypearl, Texas as appropriate for memorial donations.
